Southbank, London - land of culture and design... what better place to feature Skystation, a new work by Peter Newman which whilst reflecting the heavens has also been designed to fit the reclining figure of the human form. Newman wanted to inspire people to contemplate the vastness of the space above and this piece is one of a 100 Skystations planned for locations across the UK. Find it outside the Hayward Gallery on Southbank from the 7th of July until the 14th of September.

Hogarth Architects on Dawes Road in Fulham have designed an impressive array of projects in the past - but this monolithic structure (commissioned by a local Fulham resident for a plot in Kenya) is something a little out of the ordinary. No doubt a talking point to impress your friends with over a glass of Chenin Blanc on the gangway.
